WHERE CAN I GROW?
Apartments can only have two flower pots, and cannot cross breed.
Small houses can only have two flower pots and one deluxe garden.
Medium houses can have three flower pots and two deluxe gardens.
Mansions can have four flower pots and three deluxe gardens.
WHAT DO I NEED? — SOILS
POTTING SOIL — Used for temporary plants in efficient crossbreeding; from a vendor.
Use rank 3 whenever you can! From poetics/gathered.
LA NOSCEAN TOPSOIL — Kind of useless, only increases HQ rate.
THANALAN TOPSOIL — Increases the rate of crossbreeding!! Important!
SHROUD TOPSOIL — Increases the yield, super useful for krakka roots/plants grown inside!
WHAT DO I NEED? — SEEDS
There’s so many different combinations used for each specific crop, here’s are the ones I use for my main seeds.
CLOUDSBREATH — 5 days
Used for Flying Chair and Magicked Bed mounts.
Coerthan Tea Seeds (Timed Node)+ Dzemael Tomato (Timed Node) THANALAN SOIL
Crossbreed with mandrakes for maximum efficiency, can have it’s yield increased; use shroud soil if growing cloudsbreath inside.
NYMEIA LILY — 6 days
Used for mainly crossbreeding, mostly with tantalplant seeds for Thavnairian Onion seeds or Mandragora Queen seeds, and crafted for the Cloche and Mandragora Queen Plushie.
Coerthan Tea Seeds (Timed Node)+ Mandrake (Hidden Node) — -THANALAN SOIL
TANTALPLANT — 5 days
Used for crossbreeding with Nymeia Lily seeds for Thavnairian Onion seeds, or fed to a chocobo to increase their health+ made into chocobo feed.
Krakka Root Seeds (Vendor)+ Midland Basil (Gathered/Crossbreed Product) — THANALAN SOIL
THAVNAIRIAN ONION — 10 days
Fed to a chocobo to allow them to gain experience past level 10.
Nymeia Lily (Crossbreed)+ Tantaplant (Crossbreed) — — — — — - THANALAN SOIL
Crossbreed with mandrakes to make mimett gourds; onions cannot have their yields increased.
Mimett Gourd Seeds (Crossbreed Product)+ Nymeia Lily Seeds can also be used for Thav. Onions.
HOW DO I GROW?
You need a deluxe garden for crossbreeding, or you can buy seeds and grow in flower pots for increased yield, but not recommended unless for krakka root or chocobo coloring fruits. Use the seeds you have the most of on the corners, and the seeds you do not have a lot of on the cardinals.
DO NOT HARVEST YOUR GARDEN IF NOT ALL PLANTS ARE DONE GROWING.
